The Adrian Newey-designed machine, the ninth Formula One car produced by Red Bull, will be raced by the squad’s unchanged driver line-up of world champion Sebastian Vettel and team mate Mark Webber.

Newey said the RB9 is very much an evolution of its predecessor, thanks to the limited regulation changes, with the emphasis on detail improvements.

He stressed the importance of in-season development and getting to grips quickly with Pirelli’s revised 2013 tyres, the construction of which all the teams sampled briefly in Brazil last November.
