Caterham's latest Formula 1 challenger, the CT05, has made a delayed testing debut at Jerez.
The Leafield-based outfit had intended to present its new machine prior to track action getting underway in Spain, but an unforeseen car packaging issue delayed the reveal until shortly before 3pm local time (GMT +1).
The Renault-powered car is another to feature an 'anteater' nose, but the team has taken the concept to a new level by attaching it under a stepped upper element, in turn greatly reducing the size of the front wing pylons.
Caterham enters the new season still searching for its maiden Formula 1 points finish. It is also looking to make up for the disappointment of finishing behind key rivals Marussia in last year's Constructors' standings.
Formula 1 returnee Kamui Kobayashi and rookie Marcus Ericsson form the team's 2014 driver line-up.
