LATEST NEWS:
As per the Formula 1 Website, there seems to be news that the F1 season could now start on the 5th of July with the Austrian GP, held at the Red Bull Ring.
Now, the question is, will fans be allowed to attend the race, with most countries still imposing strict lock-down laws as well as restricted travel.
Only time will tell in the coming weeks
This is in light of another announcement that was made today that the French GP, which was supposed to take place towards the end of June, will now not take place.
This now leaves the questions for many F1 fans, such as myself, how many races will be staged this year, and how many of those races will be run behind closed doors?
For me these are still pending questions, but it seams that Formula owners, Liberty Media, is looking at ways to stage a 15-18 race season.
According to the Formula 1 website and Liberty Media, they will be finalizing their 2020 calendar and will be published soon.
